Brief information can be found in our <a href=\"https:\/\/en.www.math.fau.de\/studium\/prospective-students\/information-for-pupils-and-prospective-students\/flyer-and-folder\/\">information brochures<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-rrze-elements-collapsibles \"><div class=\"accordion\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-rrze-elements-collapse \"><div class=\"accordion-group \"><h2 class=\"accordion-heading\"><button class=\"accordion-toggle\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-name=\"advisory-services-for-schools-and-prospective-students\" data-href=\"#advisory-services-for-schools-and-prospective-students\" type=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"advisory-services-for-schools-and-prospective-students-section\" id=\"advisory-services-for-schools-and-prospective-students\">Advisory Services for Schools and prospective students<\/button><\/h2><div id=\"advisory-services-for-schools-and-prospective-students-section\" class=\"accordion-body \" aria-labelledby=\"advisory-services-for-schools-and-prospective-students\" role=\"region\" name=\"advisory-services-for-schools-and-prospective-students\"><div class=\"accordion-inner clearfix\">\n\n<p>Before studying the following questions are frequently asked:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Am I suitable for studying mathematics?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Which study programmes are available at the Department of Mathematics?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Which questions are dealt with in final theses?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What career opportunities do I have with a degree in mathematics?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to answer these and similar questions from students, we (currently the professors are&nbsp;<a title=\"F. Liers\">F. Liers<\/a>&nbsp;and <a class=\"externlink\" title=\"C. Meusburger\">C. Meusburger<\/a>) offer a visit to schools in the region. A 45-minutes or 90-minutes lesson is planned.
